Winnie the Pooh is a fictional bear based on a real toy bear owned by Christopher Robin Milne. Christopher Robin was the son of A. A. Milne who wrote the stories for him. Winnie the Pooh, together with other toys from the stories, now lives in the children's library in the Donnell Library Center in New York.
